Dr. Yaqub is a family physician who has been active in Family Medicine since 2006 in the Merced/Atwater area. A long time resident of Merced and Livingston since 1980, he attended Merced Junior College and California State University Bakersfield as an undergraduate and then went on to medical school at Ross University. He received his medical training at SUNY Buffalo, and University of Illinois Chicago.  Dr. Yaqub has served in various leadership positions in the community to promote health and wellness, as Chairperson of Family Medicine and Medical Director of Palliative Care at Mercy Medical Center and as the President of Merced Mariposa Medical Society. He has special interest in Integrative Medicine, Wellness Medicine and Esthetics to help promote best possible quality of life in our community.
